Open burning allowed in St. Joseph this month


ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Open burning of dry yard waste is allowed in St. Joseph city limits this month. Public Information Officer with the St. Joseph Health Department Stephanie Malita has a reminder on the regulations.

In addition, the Fire Chief or Health Director may invoke a temporary burning ban during the month if it could create a health hazard, such as during periods of high wind.
